SteamPunk try

Not sure where I'm going with this. It needs a new base- and the outside needs more elaborate embellishment.

The light changes color. I like the way it glows up through the rock crystal and continues up the tube to the crystal bead in the top section.

I want to cover the actual lighted base- the proportions are wrong. I need to be able to remove the top section so I can change the batteries when needed.

I think it needs more wire wrapping bits.

Pretty colored lights. :) I need to decide what I should claim this does...

Any suggestions?

Hi Zeb!

I love this idea. I think it looks like a magic lantern, for transporting you back to pre industrial revolution times, to search for more craft stuff! Can you imagine the deals?!

A spectro thermal trans pondulator. LOL I just made that up. I love it. Now I need to search around to try my hand at this. I love it. I don't have any funky lights around though. It kind of reminds me of the game Myst. I loved just looking around in that game at all the strange stuff. My roomate was realy good at finding the solutions. I suck at games so I would just watch and look at all the cool stuff.

I'll be googling steampunk for sure now... It doesn't matter what you call it, it's just COOL. it must be mesmerizing to watch the colours change. This has inspired me to add some LIGHT to my own work.
Happy junking,

Oh, Zeb! You can sell these to all of us who need a quick mode of transportation to Zorg!

I definitely vote for more wire wrapping bits.

I vote for more wire wrappy bitz too. And some rusted metally bitz. Or maybe things just made to look like rusted metally bitz.

Loveeeee it! How about colored marbles and soldered charms to add to it? Perhaps it functions as a kind of looking glass to the world of Zorg???
